Dos Gatos Baking

Introduction Welcome to my personal baking diary. I'm a home baker who's constantly looking for "something different". So I read a lot of recipes, especially those from foreign countries, trying to find new flavor combinations or baking techniques. (I'm in debt to Google Translate, but sometimes its results are... "creative".) I function in a small kitchen with minimal counter space and a temperamental gas oven from the 1950s with a broken door. It can get interesting. This isn’t just a collection of my favorite recipes (you can search on those), but also my trials, my errors (LOTS of errors), and my complete failures. (You can search on those, too.) There are even some crap recipes that don’t deserve the light of day. Some entries are long and detailed because I have a lot to say; others aren't worth the time and I have little more than the recipe. (Occasionally, not even that.) And sometimes, by the time I get around to making the post, I've forgotten my impressions of a bake! (That's really frustrating. I need to be better about that.) In other words, this isn't just the best of what I make, it's all of it: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Read on and join the adventure!

What spells can you cast with magic markers?
