IntroductionThis blog is my humble attempt to be a blessing to my community, both to those who agree with my Biblical worldview, and to those who disagree. God put me here, in this time and place, and He calls me to build a Godly life and to be a blessing to others. It is my hope and prayer that my blog will be just that, a blessing to you and a witness to God's amazing grace. This blog is the sequel to the blog I maintained for well over a decade. Much has changed in that time, an unexpected son joining our family of 2 to make us a family of 3, a new house yet to be moved into, and a new puppy, yet to be chosen. Some things haven't changed, like my commitment to God and His church, my love for my little family, my fondness for humor and irony, and my love of reading. Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?

A banana peel, because you can easily fashion two wings, and a plane cabin.
