| Introduction | My name's Aimee and I’m a Chicago-based Mortgage Consultant passionate about educating you about home purchase and refinance mortgage options in today’s challenging market. I do my best to stay on top of the gazillion changes that impact your ability to get a mortgage. It's not always easy as things shift daily, but I think it's critical as a professional to be in the know and share that knowledge to protect my clients and Realtors! Although my path to becoming a Mortgage Consultant was not traditional (marketing, non-profit PR and lobbying) these experiences give me a unique perspective on the mortgage world. I'm a Bradley University graduate, and I reside in Chicago with my Illini-obsessed husband, baby daughter and cat. I've completed 5 triathlons to date and have raised thousands of dollars for Ovarian cancer research and support. I love Bears football (painfully at times and the color inspiration of this blog) and have been featured as a condo specialist on WYLL AM 1160.
