Introduction Charlotte Puckette (chef) was born in Charleston, SC. She developed her passion for cooking while traveling and working in East Africa. She moved to France in 1990 and enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu cooking school. Since graduating in 1992. Charlotte has run her own catering business in Paris and gives market tours. Olivia Kiang-Snaije (writer) was born in Egypt and grew up in Rome and Paris. She has worked as a journalist for 20 years in New York, Paris, Milan and London. She was a major contributor to Insight Guides’ "Paris Museums” book, published in 2002, and Insight Guides’ "Eating in Paris,” published in 2004
