| Introduction | I'm going into my 17th year in teaching and it just keeps getting better! I love teaching first graders. I previously worked with preschool and kindergarten and they are amazing as well, but 1st grade is magical to me! Seeing the light go on in their eyes as they make discoveries and watching their social skills develop is such a gift. There are certainly days I come home tired, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Even on the toughest days I know I'm actively helping little minds grow. What a gift! What an adventure! |

Thank you for all you do to keep me motivated on the days when I need it! Besides teaching, I am also a mother of two gorgeous children, I love to organize things (usually after I make a mess of them in the first place, ) I love papercrafts, planners, photography, technology, decorating, reading, going to the movies, certain TV shows, and shopping (can you say Target $ Spot?) And... when the going gets rough... I get chocolate! I don't run unless something is chasing me. But I do like to camp and walk and I adore my little white dog! |
