Introduction	I have been teaching high school for 15 years now, including courses in English, sports literature, drama, and video production. I am constantly looking for ways to challenge myself and my students. I am also an aspiring writer and filmmaker. I have co-written two one-act plays and am currently co-writing a full length screenplay as well as working on a novel. I had the opportunity to work on an independent film as the set dresser and producer of a behind the scenes documentary.
Interests	Hiking, Reading, Kayaking, Writing, Biking, Camping, Learning, Exploring, Blogging, Traveling, Music....basically I will try anything twice.
Favorite movies	Book of Eli, Terminator series, Die Hard series, Beaches, The 5th Element, Star Wars trilogy (the original one) and many, many more. I am easily entertained.
Favorite music	Anything. Just play it loud ok? Specifically Toby Mac, Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, Nickelback, Skillet, December Radio, Lady Antebellum, Dead Poetic, Casting Crowns, Superchick
Favorite books	There are so many! The Bible, Johnny Got His Gun, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Hunger Games trilogy, Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Shack, A Tale of Two Cities, The Passage, The Yada Yada Prayer Group series, The Giving Tree, Guess How Much I Love You, Skippy John Jones, all Curious George books
