| Introduction | I am brand new to the Social Studies Education MAT program here at Montclair State, and am currently working as a GA for the Curriculum & Teaching Department. I earned a B.A. in History from Rutgers in 2007, and have since worked as a substitute teacher, as a writing tutor, and also in the field of IT (as a tech writer and web content manager). On the side, I play guitar in a band, publish music with a friend on our record label, and have curated music and arts events since 2002. I am looking forward to diving head first into the field of education and learning what it means to be a secondary school teacher, as well as educational leader or even theorist, in a challenging age. |
