| Introduction | I work as a psychology secretary during the week in order to pay the bills and I work at my LYS, The Tangled Skein, on Saturdays to support my yarn addiction. My best friend gave me the gift of a knitting class when I was going through my divorce, and I have been addicted to my addi’s and yarn ever since. Thinking back on that time, it’s now ironic, because I protested going to that first knitting class. My friend assured me that it would be what helped me get through the ensuing emotional times and she was right. Even though, it’s only been a few years, I truly can’t remember a time in my life that I haven’t knitted. Everything good and bad, over the past few years is associated with knitting in someway. Since that very first day at the now deceased Knitting Frenzy, I have not gone more than a few days without picking up my needles. |
