| Introduction | People weren't kidding when they said college goes by fast. My friends call me lots of things, but my favorite is Cooper. I'm a senior in college, 20 years old, finishing up my BA in Creative Writing and Psychology. I have no idea where I'll end up from here. Sometimes I feel I'm spread pretty thin across the globe -- my best friend is in Texas, my brother and sister in law are currently in Japan, and the guy I've been in and out of a relationship with (ultimately my closest friend) is currently deployed on in last tour. Distance stopped mattering to me so much. I love my friends, I love my family, despite disfunction, and I'm growing up. I've come a long way since high school, and right now, I'm just trying to find a place to put my feet -- maybe I'll hit the ground running, or maybe I'll find myself sticking around somewhere for a while. But Writing is what I do to breathe. So this is me. Welcome to my story. |
