| Introduction | I am happily married to my best friend, Gord, and we have two small pets, Utah (dog) and Keller (cat). I'm a writer, editor, photographer, social worker, entrepreneur, arts promoter, nature lover and travel enthusiast, etc., etc. When I began visiting Cuba, it quickly captured my heart and inspired me to write. The countryside is glorious and the people I've come to know are delightful. I enjoy spending time in the area surrounding Marea del Portillo, in the historic Granma region, and this blog is a forum for sharing my love of this special place.
