| Introduction | Alena Franson is a contributing writer for www.iibloom.com. She also is writing a book named "The Luckiest Family" where she talks about her life growing up in a family where four of her brothers were in wheelchairs. Alena is the oldest of nine children, four of whom are in wheelchairs with an undiagnosed neuro muscular condition, one who recently passed away at the age of 18 in October 2009, and she recently married Joseph in November 2009. She is going to graduate from John Paul the Great Catholic University in September 2010. She is studying Entertainment Communications at JP Catholic.
