| Introduction | In the glory days of Pan Am I was a flight attendant (called stewardesses or pursers back then). My first base was in Miami where I flew to Mexico, Central and South America for two years. Brazil was my favorite destination. San Francisco for a base was next where I flew the Pacific (Honolulu, Guam, Vietnam, Tokyo, Hong Kong, American Samoa, Australia, New Zealand). Marriage and twins interrupted my flying career but I did return to Pan Am about ten years later and worked in reservations, tariffs and training. It has been many years now but those days of jetting all over the world have never left my heart and memories. Today I have a wonderful husband who loves to travel too and in the last six years we have visited seven countries with five more on the agenda still to go this year. I speak fluent Spanish, semi-fluent Portuguese and am currently studying French in anticipation of our next trip in September. So join us as we share the world with you. |
