| Introduction | Teaching at UCL, and Birkbeck on pre-sessional and year long foundation programmes, I hold an MA TESOL from the Institute of Education, University of London, a Cambridge diploma in TESOL (DELTA) a Post graduate certificate in Education, and a batchlors degree in Politics and Philosophy from Reading University. Returning to study after a break of 10 years I scored 69% on my fist essay, and then earned distinctions for all subsequent essays. I'm passionate about learning and passionate about teaching, I believe that the skills and attitudes that help people to succed can be taught, and my passion is helping people to do that. My research interests include, academic writing, materials for EAP, presentations, academic reading techniques, effective teaching and learning in higher education, personal development planning, educational coaching. |
