| Introduction | Growing up in London, and other European capitals, I spent my formative years visiting museums, attending art shows, and developing an early interest and awareness of the visual arts. I must thank my grandfather, Norman(among others), for my introduction to photography: sitting in the darkened livingroom, thoroughly engrossed, watching the latest slideshows of my grandparents' retirement travels across the U.S. Fast forward through high school, suburban America, aimless wandering, art school, first solo show, and the inevitable move to New York city, where I presently live. Editorial and corporate work keep me busy, but it's in creating portraits where I find the most satisfaction. I love the interaction between photographer and subject that can sometimes produce the most enjoyable of images. |
