Introduction	My name is Francesca Capaldi Burgess and I live in Kent, England, with my husband and one of my four children. Formerly a teacher, and previously in possession of many voluntary jobs, I am now a freelance writer mainly in fiction. I have sold both short stories and articles to magazines and newspapers both in the UK and abroad. I have stories featured in the charity anthologies 'Diamonds and Pearls' and 'One Hundred Stories for Haiti' as well as in '7 Food Stories From Rome' and 'Things That Go Bump In the Night.' I'm a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association and am now concentrating on novels. At the end of December 2010, my younger daughter announced she and her partner were expecting a baby, which I've discovered is a life changing event not only for the parents, but the grandparents too.
