| Introduction | I was a farrier for 32 years, now retired, I tore my shoulder up and that stopped me from working for at least 4 months so my wife and I figured it was time to retire. Would not of if I hadn't gotten injured. Am enjoying the time now trying to figure out the rest of my life in this retirement state. I am planning to do more art work with the old horse shoes that I have collected for all the years that I shod horses. I want to write a book to help parents what to look for in a horse for their growing children when they want a horse. I have so many kids and families pick the wrong horse for them selves or someone in their families that I figure if I can help people know somethings to not do would be very gratifying for this old cowboy. Maybe I could save some heart aches for some new horse want to be or even some folks that have been around horses for a while. |
