| Introduction | I am happily married to my husband more than 15 years. We have 3 beautiful Rat Terriers girls named Bella, Chloe and Sophia. I have always done some sort of crafting, cooking, music but really got my feet wet when I got married. I began decorating and running my home. I have always worked full time but found these "domesticated" things brought much pleasure to a very busy life. I focused on Quilting and found I really liked a primitive type look. Most of my quilting got completed that crazy summer/fall when we had 3 hurricanes in Florida (maybe you remember that year). Shortly after that papercrafting began calling my name. My first attempt was for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. I wanted to do something special and make an album for them. The problem was there were only 8-10 photos-hardly enough to do an entire album. I recruited my brother who has always done art. This is where I learned how to make other "elements" to compliment the few photos I had. Album turned out beautiful and I was hooked. I love anything tea stained, vintage and grunge. Inks on my fingers are one of my happiest things in life-as long as the girls don't lick them! |
