Introduction Dr. Cajes (AB & MA in Philosophy; PhD Applied Anthropology) is senior executive fellow of the Development Academy of the Philippines - Council of Fellows and Vice President for Corporate Concerns. He is former dean of the DAP Graduate School and former managing director of the DAP Center for Sustainable Human Development (2005-2017). He designs and implements projects on sustainable development, impact evaluation, strategic planning, risk management, etc. When not working, he conducts independent research in the fields of rural and local development, culture, philosophy and history. He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, associate member of the National Research Council of the Philippines, Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy, NGS, TIES, PPSA, AGIA and Council for Research in Values & Philosophy. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines-IGIS-MPSI. He completed the Future Leaders Program (2021-2022) at the National University of Singapore Business School.
