| Introduction | Dr. Cajes (AB/MA in Philosophy, PhD Applied Anthropology) retired from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as acting SVP of the Services Group, VP for Corporate Concerns, and Compliance Officer of the DAP Board of Trustees. He served as Senior Executive Fellow of the DAP Council of Fellows, Center Head of the DAP Center for Strategic Futures, Dean of the DAP Graduate School, and VP of the DAP Center for Sustainable Human Development and the DAP sa Mindanao. An adjunct professor of the USTP-Institute of Governance, Innovations and Sustainability, he completed the Future Leaders Program (online) of the National University of Singapore Business School. He designs and implements training programs in environment and sustainable development, impact evaluation, strategic foresight and planning, risk management, leadership development, etc. On his spare time, he conducts independent research in rural development, culture, philosophy and history. He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, as well as chair and co-founder of the Advocates for Development Management and Sustainability, Inc. |
