Introduction | I have been involved in the Conductive Education world for over a decade now. I found my way here via, a mainstream teaching qualification and a years work as an Au-pair in the USA with an amazing family with 3 children one of whom has cerebral palsy. I returned to the UK where I graduated in the second graduating year from NICE in Birmingham, UK. Since then I have been based in North America and I have worked in San Jose, California, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Manhattan, NYC. I have worked closely with other therapists most especially speech and language pathologists (SLT) and as a result have become very interested in the integration of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) into CE. I am also dedicated to continuing to learn and share with the CE community and to informing people about CE. To this end I am joining the on-line community of CE bloggers. |
