But most important to me is characters because the best book in the world with characters I don't like just isn't going to do it for me. My ultimate guilty pleasure is slash, as traditional romance kind of gets on my nerves. I find the dynamics between two guys navigating their way through a relationship a lot more interesting than a traditional guy and girl relationship. However, I am also a beta reader and freelance editor, so I enjoy greatly working with self-published authors. |
