Introduction	I'm known for my eye-catching "Vase Face" paintings, an original idea that came from the desire to combine still life and portrait art. I entered the art world as a self-taught beginner looking to learn technique and develop my own style. I like to explore different types of art and art education through online workshops.
Interests	I have so many interests, it is truly difficult to name only a few. Painting is a new love for me. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

Favorite Books	I'm not much of a reader, however, I do admire those who have a passion for reading. Both my husband and mother-in-law truly love books, and it is because of their love that I started reading to my daughter when she was only 7 days old. I kept reading to her up until the time she was able to take over. Now in her 20's, she too absolutely cherishes reading and I like to think that I played a part in this enjoyment. We currently have an adorable little pug named: "Jane Austen Eyre"...hmm wonder why we named her that:)
