| Introduction | I am an art historian (Ph.D. from UT Austin); a modernist specializing in postwar and contemporary art; concentrating on figuration, abstraction, and materiality after the Second World War. I received my MA in Art History & Criticism from Brooklyn College, CUNY. Tameshk means wild berry (raspberry) in my native language, Farsi.
