| Introduction | Ujene Ikem Godspower is a lecturer at Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria. He is also a PhD student at the University of Ibadan where he is studying criminology and penology. His research interest spans across the subjects of crime and criminal justice, deviance, social policies, social change and social control, violence and terrorism, human rights and memory research, social justice, African issues as well as qualitative and quantitative research methods.
