| Introduction | I am an associate professor and extension specialist in the Department of Horticultural Science at North Carolina State University. My research and extension programs are dedicated to the development of sustainable and organic production systems for herbs, vegetables, forest farming of native botanicals, and a wide variety of specialty crops. My husband and I also run a very small farm in western NC where we raise miniature donkeys. I am also an author, consultant, and public speaker. |
