| Introduction | Rugby means to me more than a hobby, it is a way of life. They say it's a sport invented by peasants and played by gentlemen. I have been playing rugby since I was 8 years old. (I was born on 15th of May 1985.) I play for Steaua - Bucharest and I won with my team two National Championships and three Romanian Cups. I also won with my team Golden medal at IRB Under 19 World Championship (Group B)- South Africa 2004, FIRA-AER Under 20 Championat D'Europe - Romania 2004, Tournee International de Sport Militaire- France 2006. I was more than honoured to play number 3 against Portugal on 1st of December 2007. We won that match. I regret that my sport is not very popular in my country. Rugby-ul este pentru mine mai mult decat un hobby, este un mod de viata. Practic acest sport de la varsta de 8 ani, pasiunea pentru rugby fiindu-mi insuflata de fratele meu mai mare care a fost si el rugbyst. Momentan sunt legitimat la CSA Steaua - Bucuresti. Am avut deosebita onoare de a face parte din selectionata Romaniei pe data de 1 decembrie cand am invins in deplasare selectionala Portugaliei. Pacat ca sportul pe care il practic nu este foarte mediatizat in tara noastra. |
