Introduction	Hi there! I'm a busy stay-at-home mom who is always open to going back to work. My family recently moved from Houston Texas to Bakersfield California for my husband's job. It was a tough move away from family and dear friends, but as we slowly build community here in this new place, our main focus is to grow closer together as a family and to explore this new part of our amazing country together.

Favorite music	I love so many types of music: old(er) country, worship, top 40, classic rock, 80's pop, singer/songwriter
Favorite books	Right now my favorite books are non-fiction victory stories like Unbroken and Boys in the Boat. But I also love non-fiction by Eric Larson and books that make me laugh by authors like Bill Bryson and Jen Hatmaker. I like fiction too: John Grisham, Sue Monk Kidd, and Barbara Kingsolver are some of my favorite authors.
