| Introduction | Riverdale School was established in 1965. The school is situated near the south western boundary of Palmerston North, approximately 3km from the city centre. Surrounded by residential housing, the school has four safe and easy accesses. We have 13 attractive classrooms, a Special Education unit for severe and multiple disability pupils, a multiple purpose teaching space and a hall. The local community is encouraged where ever possible to use the facilities of the school. The grounds are used by sports clubs for training and the hall by sporting and cultural as well as private functions. The swimming pool is in constant use by the local community throughout the summer months. |
