| Introduction | I’m a lover of all living things. As a Certified Wellness Coach and Health Education Specialist, I strive to integrate good health practices into my life. I love cooking and eating good, wholesome & healthy vegetarian food, especially with vegetables from our garden during the summertime. I’m resolved to master the art of effortlessly preparing South Indian dishes without summoning my husband into the kitchen to do finishing touches to make sure taste & texture are just right. Learning to cook Indian food has helped me to become more creative in the kitchen, and at the same time, has helped me to learn more about Indian culture. My prayer these past few years has been from a study called “Five Aspects of Women” by Barbara K. Mouser. I hope, in some small way, to live out this prayer with this blog. “I seek in every way to raise life above mere existence to true living. I give life in every form: intellectually, socially, and artistically...Wherever there is anything living, there is work for me--for life always needs nurturing.” |
