| Introduction | Born 1925, Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire. Educated Pocklington School, East Yorkshire, and St John's College, Cambridge. MA MEng, Natural Sciences and Chemical Engineering. Employed in chemical process development and design until 1990. Met wife Barbara Joan Dalley when we were both members of Mensa. Children: Phoebe, speech and language therapist, and Jasper, freelance IT consultant and novelist. I suffer from chronic ailurophilia. My full profile states that I am of the male gender, but as I am neither a pronoun nor a Latin or similar noun or adjective I do not have gender, and if I did I should be of the masculine gender. I am of the male sex and as I do not speak prolespeak I do not use the word sex as a euphemism for copulation. I organise of the one-name Trethewy Society and have three distinct ancestral Trethewy lines. |
