Introduction	I've been in education for 26 years. Most people think kids have changed so much, and our world is heading in the wrong direction. I beg to differ with that theory. Kids are virtually the same...they just have more distractions. Finally, I'm pursuing my master's degree and, hopefully, can someday teach at the college level, write a professional book, or pursue the dream of my heart as a librarian, but, for now, I'll enjoy my 8th graders. I have a small family with lots of love. My husband, Ernie, works for TxDOT. My son, Jess, is in the sixth grade. My son, Wes, is in a group home working toward as much independence as possible. My daughter, Alana, lives in Texas with her husband, Branyon, and my three little granddaughters.
