| Introduction | A cangue is a device used for punishment in China. It, usually, is a large square piece of wood with a hole for ones neck. You are unable to eat or drink for yourself. Sometimes being an artist is like having a cangue attached to your neck. Sometimes watching an avant-garde performance has a similar feeling. |
