Leif: A Voyage
| Introduction | I am a writer. Well, that’s been true for a while. What I want to be able to say is: I make my living as a writer.” A four-word change means checks coming in the mail, really nice ones, and mortgages paid, and precious freedoms in how I spend my days and my time. They will also mean that I took chances that frightened me, and that fear did not stop me from dreaming, or from following my dreams. Since I had never completed a novel, I thought it best to write it in a public forum, so I would be accountable to write every day. It is frightening to write it, because it needs to be good, if I am going to fulfill my dream. Like many of us, I am often challenged by doubt about my abilities. Because of that, I have to tell you HOW VERY MUCH I appreciate your comments! Your words and support have seriously, seriously helped me keep going, building writing muscles. I thank you, deeply. And so, I hope to keep YOU going for a while longer! Plenty more is still to come. My promise to you is to make it the best book I can.
