Occupation	Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife
Introduction	I am a mum and a midwife, although the two are intimately intertwined! I graduated as a Registered Midwife in July 2007, and spent the best part of ten years prior to that with two gorgeous little blonde haired rascals by my side as I worked at becoming a Midwife. First I became a Registered Nurse then worked in paediatrics, womens operating theatre and then neonateal intensive care. Then I undertook the course I had been preparing for, the Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery. Little did I know at the time how the creation of my two children, the circumstances in which they came into being and the journey with them in their unique pregnancy, birth and beyond would become as much a part of me as my midwifery practice. All together, blended into this path which I walk, run, stumble, fly etc etc!!
