| Introduction | I'm working on my second master's degree (in education), my first being in health research. My longer-term plan may include becoming an educational diagnostician and possibly doing some technical writing, both of which would be a good blend of my degrees. I'm also interested in specializing in reading, perhaps at the Ph.D. level. I'm usually vegetarian. I say "usually," as I consider food part of the cultural experience of travel. I have a GREAT family, and I mean GREAT. Actually, this can be a pun, too, as my family is as large as it is wonderful. To me, "Family" includes steps and in-laws. I am lucky to have: 9 wonderful parents, 15 awesome siblings, 9 amazing nieces and nephews, 3 fabulous grandparents, 2 precious (rather grown-up) children, and the best husband in the world. I love my family so much, I could do a whole blog on them. I like to be green, although my favorite color is blue, and I vote (and donate and volunteer) Democrat. We use CFL's and hang-dry our laundry outside (it's TX, why pay for hot air?!) Horses are my passion. |
