Introduction	At The Paperback Palette I judge books by their covers and not by their content, although good content is always appreciated. My interest in cover art and illustration goes back to my childhood when I collected comics and paperbacks and dreamed of being a professional illustrator. But instead of art, I fashioned a career in libraries, which turned out to be an acceptable alternative, because now, thanks in part to institutional discounts, I own thousands of books in all genres and subjects. I hope to feature many of them here, especially the paperbacks.
