Introduction	A children's librarian at Rye Elementary School, I am currently working towards a master's degree at Lesley University. I am a mom, a former arts editor, and community activist who worked with a group of about 15 peers in Portsmouth to raise $1 million to help fight childhood hunger. Music, the beach and, yes, children's books are among my favorite distractions.
