| Introduction | I moved to Costa Rica because I heard it was inexpensive, warm all year round, and had some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Thinking I was going to live an easy life by the beach, my girlfriend and I sold the stuff we couldn't bring, packed our bags and moved to Costa Rica. Trying to keep it simple before it got complicated. We wanted to live by the ocean, see the world and learn some Spanish. However the beach is a 4 hour bus ride away, I seem to spend 40 hours a week teaching and learning to teach, and San Jose is no beach when you don’t speak Spanish. Other than that I am still trying to live Pura Vida. |
