Introduction | Like most people, I'm a creature of contradictions. So maybe that's the way you can know me -- by my contradictions: I got an MBA from a top school at age 23, but am not ambitious or career-oriented. I am a major introvert, yet am known by some for my public speaking ability. I love to read about fitness and nutrition, but usually exercise only an hour a week. I have a big-screen, high-definition TV, but don't get cable. In the bible, Nathanael was also a man of contradictions (John 1:43-51). He was recognized by Jesus as a good man, yet greeted the rabbi with cynicism. Nathanael then became convinced of Jesus' identity through a small miracle, and was promised that he would see "greater things than that". The Greek word spoken for "great things" was 'megas', and the plural is 'megaloi'. I want to see and experience many great things from God, so the name of this blog is Megaloi. |

For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:
Well, it's no turkey-shaped cheese grater, but it's the thought that counts, right?
