Introduction	After a year and a half and a few too many rodents, we've decided to ditch the apartment and get some dirt to call our own. Bound and determined to use our vehicles as little as possible, Travis and I are purchasing our first home in Spanish Town where we can walk to everything downtown Baton Rouge - work, food and fun. The 80+ year old home has it's fair share of character, but with all that character there's sure to be some quirks and repairs, not to mention a few arguments about paint colors and what exactly we will be doing with all that cypress... We hope to share it all with you here, and can't wait for visitors!
