| Introduction | I am a lifelong resident of North Dakota. I grew up on a farm 20 miles from the Canadian border. I attended a one room country school through grade 5. It really was one room, one teacher, 8 grades, 15 students when I was in first grade, declining to 8 students by the time it closed. |
| Interests | Aviaition, particularly military aircraft from WWII on. Cars. I have too many but I haven't been able to part with my 66 Chev I had in high school or my 69 Little Red Corvette. Cooking. I discovered in middle age, with the help of tv food network, that I enjoyed the creative aspect of cooking. My theory is that the freedom I find in food is a good counterpoint to my rather regimented professional life as a CPA. |
