Introduction	My name is Catherine Smith. I joined the ranks of being a mom with a disabled child in Novemeber 2010. Our daughter was born 8 weeks premature with Hydrops Fetalis caused from congenital chylothorax and was given a 5% chance of survival. She did survive, but experienced some brain damage along the way. Josie is now 1 and is unable to hold her head up or sit up due to the brain damage. I accept this as God's soverign plan for josie's life, but it's nonetheless painful to walk.
