| Introduction | I'm a music- and book-addict. I'm not going anywhere without my iPod and at least one book in my bag. I learned to keep myself good company....like one of my favourite Bright Eyes songs says: "when everything is lonely I can be my own best friend". I have a loud voice. I have a thing for swearing. I've seen people who depend so so much on what others think of them and they can't accept if someone, anyone, doesn't like them. I'm on a different end there, though I have my family and friends I sometimes have a hard time grasping the fact that they like me for who I am...and what might seem like confidence to some is just fake arrogance and a lot of pride. I tell myself this: if you should ever be on an island all by yourself, you'll be the only company you'll have so might as well get acquainted with it - you might even like what you see. wouldn't that be grand? Shakespeare says: "all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players" and combined with something Chico Marx said: "La vie? I still think it´s a terrible play but it makes a wonderful rehearsal!" I like to believe in that. |
