| Introduction | During numerous years, Emmanuel Piperno exercised his passion for Feng-Shui, the oriental art of balance of strengths in the housing environment. He is the author of an essay on the subject: "The house, the mirror of the soul" (LMI Publishing), a study on the psychological links that we maintain with our house. His numerous works also include a novel: "Expresso Agitato" (Ed. Léo Scheer - M@nuscrits), staging an agoraphobic artist cloistered in his apartment. Obsessed by the space, the city and the architecture, Emmanuel Piperno is a researcher of sense, direction and value. First a representational and figurative artist, it is by this way that he transported us through Tel Aviv in 2009, the white city, the "bubble"; in this overall context his solo exhibition which showed at the Bauhaus Center was heralded as a striking success. But as he will say, "the representational artist became quickly a dead end for me." |
