| Introduction | ...a Morehouse College and NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate, a recipient of the Waldo Salt/Ian Hunter Award for Excellence in Screenwriting, Avery penned the indy feature "Directing Eddie" (Valerie Perrine, Jade Barrymore) voted Best Comedy: 2001 NY Independent Film & Video Festival. He scripted and produced the shorts "Notes In A Minor Key" (Buena Vista) and "The Willie Witch Projects" (Trimark Pictures under 'The Bogus Witch Project').
