| Introduction | Imagine if one was strong and courageous. Imagine that she would prefer the truth, however frightening it may seem. Imagine what may be if she were not content to sit walled in, but pounded the stone til her fists were bloody; screamed herself hoarse until a rope was lowered to She-who-dwells-in-a-dark-dry-cistern. And imagine a child with the heart of a lion, who bravely climbed the rough rope til she stood at the top on solid ground, and the sun warmed her face, and she exulted victoriously, "I am free!" Imagine that. |
