Introduction	After many years teaching, I had a change of career four years ago. I now make curtains, blinds and cushions for a living and thoroughly enjoy myself. I still do a bit of teaching and home tuition. Working this way gives me the chance to enjoy my interests and earn a living at the same time. I keep three chicken and grow as many vegetables as I can in a suburban garden. I enjoy being an active member of our church and try to encourage as many people to live an environmental and simple life as possible in the 21st century.
