Introduction	I am a 42 year-old SAHM. I call myself a Mermaid out of Water to describe the dualities I feel as I experience newlywed life to a man with Asperger's syndrome, learning to heal and live with my own Bipolar Disorder, finding common ground as a metaphysical/shamanistic Christian married to a Tolkienistic pagan, not to mention finding my own peaceful way of abundance in a situation that happens to have my household living on the shoestrings of Social Security Disability incomes of my husband, me and our year-old daughter. This Mermaid knows she comes from the loving arms of the sea and has the powerful voice of a siren. Yet like many mermaids of lore, I am walking with shaky legs on unfamiliar land making my own way to find my dreams.
