All MAK Designs jewelry pieces are time-intensive labors of love. Each highly detailed design is the result of ONLY extremely intricate hand wire-wrapping, immense passion and oodles of patience. I use the best quality metal, beads, and findings. Great care is taken to ensure that each piece is made to become a treasured favorite in my smoke and pet free studio. Thirty-two years later my love for making jewelry is still a true passion. Some of my beads originate from vintage pieces of jewelry that are carefully and lovingly dismantled, then they are used in "new" pieces created only by me. Schooled as a graphic artist and illustrator I became charmed creating one of a kind beaded and lapidary pieces. All my work is created in my home studio in Jamestown, North Carolina. |
