| Introduction | We’re an “independent” club (non-IPMS) and have been in existence since 1984. What do we do at the club? Well, if you have to ask, we MAKE MODELS, pretty obvious really . . . we build models from most major (and minor) manufacturers - Tamiya, Hasegawa, Trumpeter, Dragon - to name but a few - we also“super-detail”, “convert” and “scratchbuild”. We don’t specialise in any one type of modelling - Military & Civilian Vehicles, Ships, Aircraft, Figures, Sci-Fi - you name it, we’ve probably built it! Generally, it’s a couple of hours of getting together with like-minded individuals - discussing the pro’s and con’s of various kits available; how to get the best results from a kit; modelling techniques; passing on useful information (such as sourcing obsolete kits, relevant after-market parts) and generally putting the world to rights.
