Introduction	Julie is my daughter, and I started this blog when it became obvious that her path through life was going to be different from anything I could have imagined. She started to have difficulties with her mental health as a teenager, spent a long time in hospital care, and may never be able to work or live quite like other people. Now in her early twenties, she has recently been diagnosed as autistic, and it's also thought she suffers from bipolar disorder. She lives independently with support, and this blog is about my life as her mother.
